In 2018, he re-debuted in the three-member group Benefit, and in October he won in 40 seconds at Angel’s Fighting 07. In 2019, Benefit disbanded, and in November he defended his celebrity title for the first time at AFC 13.
The breakthrough yearThe year he turned 29, he appeared on TV Chosun’s Mr. Trot as a mixed martial arts champion and won the approval of every judge on the panel, which made his name known. In 2024, he appeared on Immortal Songs and held his first solo exhibition in December. In 2025, he released the duet “Yoksimjaengi” with Aubrey Caraan, and in November he became an ambassador for the Korea Physically Disabled Welfare Association.
In 2026, he became the exclusive model for a protein brand and spoke in August about his work abroad.
