The breakthrough yearThe year she turned 27, she took her first lead role in the MBC daily drama Princess Aurora, and Sports Donga and Newsen wrote that the drama made her name known. At the end of the year she won Best New Actress at the MBC Drama Awards.

In 2014, news came that she would join More Than a Maid. In 2015, she played the lead role, Han Seung-ri, in the MBC morning drama Tomorrow Victory.

In April 2017, she joined SBS Running Man as a new member. At that year’s SBS Entertainment Awards she won the Rookie Award and the Best Couple Award. In January 2018, she appeared in tvN Cross, and at that year’s SBS Entertainment Awards she won the Top Excellence Award in the variety category.

In 2021, she won the Drama Special TV Cinema Award at the KBS Drama Awards for Hee-soo. In 2022, she appeared in JTBC Cleaning Up, and Topstar News reported that she won Excellence Award, Actress at the Korea Drama Awards.

In 2023, she left Running Man after about six and a half years. In 2024, she appeared in two dramas and changed agencies. In December she appeared on Running Man as a guest, a year after leaving.

In 2025, she appeared in the play Sa-ui Chanmi and as a guest on Netflix Crime Scene Zero. In 2026, she appeared in the film Eighteen Youth and the play Lungs.
