In 1991, he released his first solo album, Like the First Time We Met. His second album in 1992 included “Neoui Gyeolhonsik.” The third album, The Natural, in 1993 included “One Day Long Ago.” The fourth album, Coexistence, released in 1995, sold more than 600,000 copies. In 1996, he put out the fifth album, Stupid.

In 2000, he founded Synstown. In 2005, he worked with Jung Suk-won for the first time in 10 years. In 2006, he married Jeon Mi-ra, a former national tennis team player.

In 2007, he became a host of MBC’s Radio Star from its first broadcast. In 2008, he released his eleventh studio album after three years and seven months. In 2009, he judged the finals of Mnet’s Superstar K. In 2010, he started Monthly Yoon Jong-shin, with a song a month, and also became a Superstar K 2 judge.

In 2013, he began running Mystic89 as a full-fledged label. In 2014, he won his Hidden Singer 3 episode with a record 89 votes. In 2015, he founded the joint venture Freec with AfreecaTV.

In 2017, “Like It,” released in June, climbed back up the charts to his first No. 1 on the music charts. In 2018, Monthly Yoon Jong-shin reached No. 100. In 2019, he planned the Netflix original series Persona. That year he also left Radio Star and, in November, left Korea for the Ibangin Project. He returned in July 2020. In 2021, he took part in a remake of “Teong Bin Georieseo” with 015B.

In 2023, Monthly Yoon Jong-shin entered its 14th year. In 2024, Mystic Story’s first boy group, ARrC, debuted. In 2025, he appeared on Radio Star for the first time in five years and continued his national tour Geuttae. In 2026, ARrC disbanded, he began hosting the new season of KBS2’s Happy Together in July, and in October he started the national tour Gaeul Naemsae.

Yoon Jong-shin (born Oct 15, 1969) debuted in 1990, the year he turned 21, singing “Teong Bin Georieseo” as a guest vocalist for 015B, and became known with that song. In March 2010, the year he turned 41, he started Monthly Yoon Jong-shin.
