In 1994, he released “In the Summer.” In April 1995, he released the third album Force Deux with “Break Off the Yoke,” and in July Deux broke up after a farewell concert. That November, Kim Sung-jae, who had performed with him, died.
In 1996, he wrote, composed and arranged Lula’s “3!4!” and released his first solo studio album, Do It! In 1997, he wrote Jinusean’s “Tell Me” and released the Deux best-of album Deux Forever. “Love, Fear” on it was a new song at the time.
