The year she turned 23, as an actor trainee at JYP Entertainment, she made her first public appearance in Jo Kwon’s music video “Crosswalk.” That year she was also cast as the female lead of the film Wretches, taking on a dual role in her debut film. In January 2024, A Good Day to Be a Dog ended, and she joined the drama Nine Puzzles. In July, the Sweet Home series ended with season 3, and in December she appeared as the North Korean defector Kang No-eul in Netflix’s Squid Game season 2.
In June 2025, the Squid Game series ended with season 3, and in September she appeared as Shin Jae-yi in the Netflix film Mantis. In 2026, it was reported that she had been offered the lead role in the romantic comedy drama But Your Love (working title).
