The breakthrough yearThe year she turned 26, she became the new host of KBS2’s Entertainment Weekly. Edaily writes that she made her face known by hosting the program and Fluttering Night. In October she also became host of The Golden Bell Challenge.

In 2019, she was DJ of Fluttering Night, I’m Lee Hye-sung, and in November Entertainment Weekly, which she hosted, ended. In 2020, she left KBS and became a freelancer. In September she signed an exclusive contract with SM C&C, and in December she started tvN’s Naked World History.

In 2021, she appeared in SBS FiL’s Teacher of Narat as a teacher of Korean. In 2022, she was host of TV Chosun’s Manbok Sikdang. In 2023, she made a cameo in JTBC’s King the Land and appeared as a player in Netflix’s The Devil’s Plan.

In 2024, she was pre-show MC for the 2024 MAMA Awards. In 2025, she became an ambassador for the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, and in June she opened a YouTube channel about books.

In 2026, she left Naked World History and took part in MBN’s Cheonha Jeppang. In July her YouTube channel passed 300,000 subscribers.
