In 2016, he completed the keirin training center’s class 22 course and received an excellence award. The year he turned 27, he debuted as a class 22 rider and won the rookie of the year title that year.
In 2018, he rode for the Dongseoul team in the final of the special-class training-center competition, and the team won.
In 2019, he finished third in the special-class final of the Changwon Keirin anniversary special race. In 2021, he appeared as the first subject of the web variety show Gamsa Deurim Project. In July 2022, he moved up to super special, and in December he was runner-up at the Grand Prix Keirin.
The breakthrough yearThe year he turned 33, he appeared on Netflix’s Physical: 100 representing keirin and finished second overall. He married in January, and a dispute over how the final was run led in March to the production team releasing the original footage and apologizing. He was third at the champion-of-champions event in June and runner-up again at the Grand Prix in December.
In February 2024, he finished second at the Sports Seoul Cup major keirin race, and at the end of May he was injured. In 2025, he moved from the Dongseoul team to the Suseong team. In May 2026, he finished third in the special-class final of the Star Match major race.
Jung Hae-min (born Jan 26, 1990) debuted as a class 22 keirin rider in 2017, the year he turned 27, and became known on Jan 24, 2023, the year he turned 33, when he appeared on Netflix’s Physical: 100 representing keirin. His first Grand Prix runner-up finish came in 2022, the year he turned 32.
