In November 2010, the year he turned 22, he competed in the 66 kg class in the bronze medal match at the World Team Judo Championships and beat a French judoka, and Korea won bronze. In August 2011, he won bronze in the 66 kg class at the World Judo Championships in Paris.
The breakthrough yearThe year he turned 24, he was chosen for the London Olympic men’s 66 kg judo team. On July 29, in the quarterfinal against Japan’s Ebinuma, the referees gave him a unanimous decision after extra time, but the decision was reversed to a loss. He then beat Spain’s Uriarte in the bronze medal match and won bronze, and in August he appeared on MBC’s Radio Star.
In October 2013, he withdrew with an injury before the 66 kg final at the National Sports Festival and took silver. In March 2014, he appeared on MBC’s Sebakwi.
In June 2015, he became a trainer for the men’s judo national team, and in October he appeared in the judo team episode of KBS2’s Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education. In the December year-end special he was introduced as a coach of the women’s judo national team. In July 2016, he left with the Rio Olympic team as a coach, and in December he appeared on My Little Television with his brother.
In February 2017, he appeared on I Live Alone for the first time, and in August he appeared on tvN’s The Society Game 2. In June 2018, he appeared on King of Mask Singer in a cactus mask. In March 2020, he appeared on The Gentlemen’s League as a mercenary. In 2021, he appeared on Radio Star and Noneun Bro, and in July he served as MBC’s judo commentator at the Tokyo Olympics.
In June 2022 he appeared on Hojeokmate, and in July on Ilkkunui Tansaeng. In July 2024, he served as MBC’s judo commentator at the Paris Olympics with his brother Cho Jun-hyun, and in November he appeared in Netflix’s Zombieverse: New Blood.
In 2025, Korea Economic Daily reported that he teaches students at a judo dojo in Songdo, Incheon. In September 2026, he appeared on MBC’s Radio Star episode 981.
Cho Jun-ho (born Dec 16, 1988) competed in the 66 kg class at the World Team Judo Championships on Nov 1, 2010, the year he turned 22, and became known when he won bronze in men’s 66 kg judo at the London Olympics on Jul 29, 2012, the year he turned 24. The year before, in 2011, the year he turned 23, he had won bronze at the World Judo Championships.
