The year he turned 18, he joined the T1 academy team, and he was called up to the first team that December.
In 2021, he made his LCK debut, beat Liiv Sandbox and was chosen team MVP. In his second match, he was named POG for the first time. That summer, he reached the LCK Summer final but lost to Damwon Kia.
In April 2022, he lifted his first trophy at the LCK Spring and was named finals MVP. At the MSI and Worlds, T1 lost to China’s RNG and to DRX, finishing second at both, but he was named Jungler of the Year at the year-end LCK Awards.
The breakthrough yearIn November 2023, the year he turned 21, T1 beat Weibo Gaming 3-0 in the final at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, and he won his first Worlds title.
In 2024, he won Worlds for a second straight year. It was the first time in the tournament’s history that the same roster had won twice in a row. In November, he signed a two-year extension with T1.
In September 2025, he was chosen for the All-LCK Second Team, and in November he won a third straight Worlds title. At the December LCK Awards he was named Jungler of the Year again, and on his birthday, the 24th, he extended with T1 through 2028.
In 2026, he finished fourth at the Esports World Cup in France. In August, he returned to the starting spot he had given up to a second-team jungler, but in September T1 lost the LCK playoff match to Hanwha Life that would have taken it to the final.
Oner (born Dec 24, 2002) debuted in the LCK with T1 on Feb 21, 2021, the year he turned 19, and became known on Nov 19, 2023, the year he turned 21, when he won his first Worlds title. In 2025, the year he turned 23, he won a third straight Worlds title.
