In 2018 he appeared in the web drama My Woofy Poofy Love, and in February the film Gate opened. In 2019 he appeared in SBS’s Doctor John, and The Faceless Boss opened in November.
The year he turned 23, he took his first lead role in a drama, in MBC’s Here’s My Plan. In 2022 he won Best New Actor at the Korea Drama Awards for Today’s Webtoon.
The breakthrough yearThe year he turned 25, he became known as the class president Lee Gang-hoon in Disney+’s Moving. In October his role as K was revealed in SBS’s The Escape of the Seven, and in December he won Best New Actor at the SBS Drama Awards.
In 2024 he joined Netflix’s Agents of Mystery and appeared in the film Handsome Guys and Genie TV’s Your Honor. In January 2025 SBS’s Love Scout began, and in February he signed with PeakJ. TVING’s Dear X was released in November, and on Dec. 31 he won an Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards.
In 2026 Agents of Mystery 2 was released and he was named to the Forbes Korea 30 Under 30. His casting in tvN’s Retired Agent + Management Team became known, and in August came news of his lead role in Netflix’s Dochabi.
Kim Do-hoon (born Sep 15, 1998) debuted in the short film Following in 2016, the year he turned 18, and became known as Lee Gang-hoon when Disney+’s Moving was released on Aug 9, 2023, the year he turned 25. His first lead role in a drama was MBC’s Here’s My Plan in 2021, the year he turned 23.
