The breakthrough yearThe year he turned 16, in February 2023, he appeared on Boys Planet as a Yuehua Entertainment trainee and earned an All-Star grade as the youngest contestant. A month later, in March, he ranked fourth in the first survivor announcement, based on votes from 176 countries. On Apr. 20, he finished ninth and made the nine-member debut lineup, and Zerobaseone was formed. On July 10, he formally debuted with the debut album Youth in the Shade, which sold 1.82 million copies in its first week. In August, he held his first fan concert at Gocheok Dome, and in November he released the second mini album Melting Point and won Best New Male Artist at the MAMA Awards.
In March 2024, he shot a Cosmopolitan Korea cover with Zhang Hao and became its youngest cover model. On Apr. 28, he joined SBS’s Inkigayo as a new MC with IVE’s Leeseo and Moon Sung-hyun. In August, the mini album Cinema Paradise came out and became a million-seller within a day of release.
In April 2025, he was chosen as a model for the cashmere brand Barrie. On Sept. 1, the first full-length album Never Say Never came out, and on the 14th he left his Inkigayo MC job of one year and five months. On Nov. 13, he took the College Scholastic Ability Test.
In January 2026, he graduated from Hanlim Arts School. In February, Zerobaseone became a five-member group, and he was to wrap up the project period.
On Mar. 15, he held the final concert as a nine-member group. On May 26, he re-debuted in And2ble with Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin and Yoo Seung-eon.
Han Yu-jin (born Mar 20, 2007) became known on Feb 2, 2023, the year he turned 16, when he earned an All-Star grade as the youngest contestant on Mnet’s Boys Planet, and formally debuted that year on Jul 10, 2023 with Zerobaseone’s debut album Youth in the Shade. In 2026, the year he turned 19, he re-debuted in And2ble with Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin and Yoo Seung-eon.
