The breakthrough yearIn March 2017, he was a guest on the KBS2 pilot Jarangbang Sonnim, and in October he was appointed a Hanbok ambassador. The year he turned 16, he was named to Time’s 30 Most Influential Teens of 2017 in November, the only Korean on the list. In December he appeared in the first episode of tvN’s My English Puberty and on MBC’s Radio Star and took part as a citizen representative in the Bosingak New Year’s Eve bell-ringing.
In 2018, he appeared on JTBC’s Knowing Bros and Please Take Care of My Refrigerator and on MBC’s King of Mask Singer, and in February he was a torchbearer for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in Gangneung. In April 2019, he became a permanent host of Mnet’s M Countdown, and in August he appeared in the SBS drama Hip Hop King – Nassna Street. In January 2020, he appeared in the first 2020 episode of MBC Every1’s South Korean Foreigners, and in September he was confirmed for a Netflix sitcom. In February 2021, he left M Countdown, and in June Netflix’s So Not Worth It was released.
In January 2022, he made his screen debut in the film Special Delivery, and in June he signed with Sublime. In October 2023, he walked the runway at the Gangnam Fashion Festa.
In May 2025, he signed with ESteem, and in August he appeared on The Gentlemen’s League 4. In March 2026, he received the Best Model award at The Look of the Year Korea Star Awards, and in May his appearance in E Channel’s Hanguk Tamgu Yeohaeng was announced.
Han Hyun-min (born May 19, 2001) debuted as a model in 2016, the year he turned 15, at Seoul Fashion Week, and became known as the only Korean on Time’s 30 Most Influential Teens of 2017, announced on Nov 3, 2017, the year he turned 16. He made his screen debut in the film Special Delivery in 2022.
